Tesseract Trucking is hiring 1099 company drivers for OTR freight across the lower 48. Based in La Habra, CA · dispatched from our Chino terminal.
This position is a 1099 COMPANY DRIVER engagement, not a W-2 employee position. You'll be responsible for your own income and self-employment taxes, and for any personal coverages required of you under the Independent Contractor Operating Agreement. The full Agreement — including what's covered by Tesseract and what's your responsibility — is part of the application for you to review and sign.
What we need from you.
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
- CDL-A license, valid and unrestricted
- 21 years or older (interstate operation)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in last 3 years)
- Current DOT medical examiner's certificate
- Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen
- No DUI/DWI in last 5 years
